A Winter's Day II, 08408, snowy stream in winter

I've painted this little stream before from a different angle. I think it's all the shades of blue I use for the snow and water that makes is so fun for me. I used combinations of cobalt blue, prussian blue, and ultramarine blue. Also Paynes grey, which is really a shade of blue also.

This is a scene we came across on the hike to Mohawk Lake, near Breckenridge, CO. The beavers had been busy building a dam. I liked this scene because we were in deeply shaded forest and could see through the trees a sunlit meadow with blue sky reflecting in the stream.
