"Points of Interest"

The "point of interest" in this painting was supposed to be the yellow area near the middle, but there is another point of interest.  Can you find it?  It's the drop of red paint I accidentally dropped on the large dark blue segment.  I was about to wipe it off, but decided I liked it there.  Changed the title to PointS of Interest.

Poppylicious

I know it's a silly title, but I like it.  I've done so many poppy paintings, I'm getting a little desperate for titles.

I had a student last week who wanted to learn faux batik, the process where we use wax as a resist.  After cracking the wax, color is reapplied to the painting, but it only goes in where the wax is cracked.  This gives an unpredictable lace-like filigree to the painting.
