Who's the Guilty Party? by Carol Nelson

Here's a lovely little triptych, "Spring Eternal", that was sitting on the floor in my studio.  I'm going to have to change my ways now that we have a puppy.

Someone was using my painting as a chew toy.  Even though I have
three dogs, the only suspect is one 9 month old pup.

Maggie, the Chewer

Nothing is safe in my studio now.  She also chewed the cable for my camera - fortunately that still works.  And I can also repair the chew marks on the painting.  It's only a matter of time before she really wrecks something....she hasn't discovered a closet full of shoes yet.

Maggie is the rescue dog my husband brought home 11 days ago.  She is so full of energy, our two shih tzus don't quite know what to make of her.  She thinks all dog beds and all toys are HERS.

LOL, everybody's an art critic! Glad you're able to repair the piece you got lucky. Definitely time to puppy proof :-)

If you just pay attention to that poor dog. she would have to go to such lengths to get you to notice her

What a darling mischievous pup trying to "help" you ! I have a painting that I THOUGHT I'd put high enough away from "Susie" a young cocker spaniel...she climbed up, got her nose in the red paint and created her own mark on the painting...which as been hanging in my house for 43 years! you for sharing your puppies adventure with your painting...
Peace and love,
Siggi
