My Daily Painters group assignment is to post a painting of something I would not normally do. I do just about everything, so I had to contemplate a bit about this. Then an ad for Geico came with the newspaper showing their little pile of money you could be saving with Geico.
When they first started this ad campaign, I thought it was kind of dumb, but now I love it. I think they should sell little piles-of-money-dolls or something. I had a lot of fun painting this one.

Vern, you must not watch TV AT ALL. That Geico ad is on every time you turn around.
The pitch is that people are going about their business and they see this pile of money with big eyes staring at them. They don't know what it is, and someone says "Oh, that's the money you could be saving with Geico."
It's amusing, like all the Geico ads.

That is hilarious! That ad cracks me up and just coming across that little iconic 'thingy' was great. Glad I came across this blog where you have a wonderful sense of humor and great painting style.
