Gemstone 7

This is the latest in my Gemstone series.  I painted it as a demo for the recent workshop I did in Ouray, CO.

It is a gift for a collector of mine who did me a huge favor that I am not allowed to talk about until August 1st.  (Can't wait to tell you).  All I can say now is that it has something to do with the the painting you see below.

Shootings in Aurora, CO

Thanks to so many of you who inquired about the safety of me and my family.  Fortunately, none of us were at that theater, which is only 5 miles from my house, the other night.
Senseless tragedies such as this, makes us more aware of how precious is every day with our loved ones.

I didn't know you were so close. Glad you weren't at the movies! Do you know Rebecca Rosen? She's a medium and author - "Spirited." She mentioned on facebook that she and her family live less than five miles from the shootings. Just thought you might know of her since, in some circles, she's famous! But then, so are you! :o)
