Geologic abstract landscape, "Turquoise Strata" © Carol Nelson Fine Art

"Turquoise Strata" by Carol Nelson

I like painting on watercolor paper, deciding if the end painting is worthy of mounting, and then mounting it on a cradled panel. If you painting is a dog (not good), you're only out a piece of paper.

This is, of course, another in my geologic series. Can't get enough of those rocks.

Hi, Carol. I love your rocks series! Do you do them all on watercolor paper? Do you use 300lb paper? I took your Craftsy class and love it!
