In this painting, I used very heavy texture to
create the foam of the wave. The moon is gold textured paper with an
accent of variegated gold metal leaf. The shine of these metallic
elements does not show in the photo.
The wave was poured fluid acrylic paints. The
fluid paints were allowed to flow together making a convincing, yet
abstracted, waterscape.
