"FOREST PRIMEVAL" |
This is another painting resulting from my experiments with yupo paper. Here the background is resist of gloss medium on yupo. The gloss medium makes the fluid acrylic paint do funny things. I love the unpredictability of it.
The painting has a beige linen mat and wood frame with glass. Outside dimensions of the frame are 15x15 inches. For purchase information, click here to go to my website.
Are you using GLOSS MEDIUM AND VARNISH by Liquitex
ReplyDeleteFor being unpredictable, this turned out beautifully. I'm hearing a lot about yupo paper, I'm going to have to give it a go :-)
ReplyDeleteReally unique, Carol and I love the choice of mat and frame.
ReplyDeleteI love to paint on YUPO and haven't gotten to experimenting with Acrylics on it...the gloss medium sound like it would be an interesting combination with the paints. Love the painting...thanks for sharing. Siggi in Maine
ReplyDeleteYou got a very cool result!! Looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love the title! I named a jewelry collection of mine "Leaves from the Forest Primeval."
Yes, I use liquitex gloss medium and varnish. There are many products similar to it. Golden makes several versions, each of which has slightly different characteristics. But they are all POLYMER EMULSION.
ReplyDeleteso nice painting photo into painting
