anyway, congratulations...
The texture is gel medium applied before the paint. Also, in this case, I painted the horse brown, then white. Before the white dried completely, I spritzed with alcohol - that's the circles you see where the color beneath shows through.
Love the final look, your use of gel and then the alcohol makes for such a unique and striking painting.
