Fall in Colorado

My husband and I spent a few days up in Breckenridge, CO, for our anniversary.  The aspens were a blaze of yellow and yellow-orange.  The sky was the bluest blue.  You can't find a more beautiful place to visit.

These photos were all taken from the deck of our condo.  The top one was about 9 in the morning, the lower two were at about 4 in the afternoon.  I wish we had had a dusting of snow on those above timberline peaks, but it's still a good shot.

I simply love your work! Your colors are so vibrant and alive! My son lives in Colorado Springs with 7 of our grandchildren. I sure love these beautiful fall photos. I just added a link to your blog on my artblog. Happy painting!

Carol, I love these photos. The colors of fall in Colorado are very much the same as in Alberta, Canada where I am from. The mountains here don't have much snow on their peaks either at the moment, but for now its a painters paradise out there. All the best!
