100 Portraits: the top ten

The winner of the last and final group of ten was MANDY! So now we have to pick the winner of winners - no small task. I wish I could line them all up horizontally, but I can't on this blog.
Just scroll down on the last two entries and let me know who will be the Grand Poobah!

Thank you for your vote, your comments, your kind words, your support. It's been a blast.

100 Portraits- What a great way to showcase you skills and show that you're a well-rounded painter. I'd never have guessed from your abstracts that you painted anything else!
Kudos!

Well done Carol! It's been amazing watching these portraits appear on a daily basis - really great paintings, each and every one of them!

Carol I always considered that I was a talented artist, but the gift and I call it a gift with good reason, to do portraits has always evaded me. I was completely bowled over by 100 portraits in 100 days. OMG how did you accomplish this amazing feat and even more amazing artwork? These portraits are clones to the dimensions of their snapshots. I love the addition of gorgeous color backgrounds. I always thought that the ability to do a portrait and really have it look like the person is an ability few are gifted with. I know that in this area my artistic talent evaporated long ago. I stick to landscapes and painting them make me as happy as a clam. I do admire good art technique . Carol your technique is flawless. The facial dimensions are perfect, the under nose to upper lip ratio, bottom of nose to bottom of ear ratio, space between the eyes and forehead ratio, bottom lip to bottom chin ratio. These are such perfect portraits they look traced. This is my greatest compliment that I can pay to another artist.
