100 OIL PORTRAITS IN 100 DAYS - Jodi, 64/100, © Carol Nelson Fine Art
Day 64
This is Jodi. Since her photo was taken outside in front of some foliage, she reminds me of a wood nymph - not that I've ever SEEN a wood nymph. I usually have a plain colored background, but on this one I put some leaf forms in there. It just seemed like the thing to do. For purchase information, please see my website, or email me at carolnelsonfineart@comcast.net.
The WINNER of the last group of ten by ONE vote was Stape, 52/100. Then two were tied for second. That was really close.

Hi Carol! You are amazing! The oil portraits you have created for this challenge are out of this world! Thanks for sharing your talent with us all! Have a great Friday! :)
Beautiful background, Carol. I also love how you captured that greenish reflection lymning her jawline. Jodi is so pretty!
Never having seen a wood nymph myself I think she looks JUST LIKE A BEAUTIFUL WOOD NYMPH! Love that foliage behind...you kept is subtle enough that it works...
carol,
highly fascinated and really stunned by the portraits...
how good you are in capturing the figures, light, contrast etc...
the skin tone and effect of light falling on it is wonderfully captured...
congratulations...
Still going strong...great.
Carol, these just continue to amaze me. What a wonderful series. And congrats, I have just given you the Sunshine Award! Details are on my blog.
