100 PORTRAITS IN 100 DAYS - Merideth, 27/100, © Carol Nelson Fine Art
Day 27
I like the golden tones in this portrait - the sunglasses were fun to do - I think it's one of my better nose renditions. That about sums up this portrait of this lovely young lady. She is the daughter of one of my fellow Daily Painters members, Debbie Lincoln.

The sunglasses definitely are fun. Nice job, Carol! Tired yet?
A great nose indeed, Carol. Meredith is beautiful!
You are right...the nose is great...the glasses are masterful...I love the way to approached the highlights. NICE! Looking forward to seeing all these in person!!
That's really a beautiful portrait, Carol! I, too, like the warm tones and the great reflections in the glasses!
Of all the aspects of a face, painting teeth scares me most. Carol, you are such an expert and this set proves it day-by day. The blog can be a book of lessons!
Carol, I have been following your portrait project with interest. I'm also an artist and I feel inspired to take a stab at a similar project with pets. I love animals and love drawing and painting their portrait.
So I think I will give it a go and see what happens. I mentioned your blog on my blog as well as posted it to facebook.
Your work is beautiful.

Though you may never want to paint another portrait again after your 100, you will be such a master at it...this is really nice!
Great job as usual Carol. The sunglasses are done beautifully. You've picked up the reflections perfectly. Sun glasses always seem to add a "mystic" to a portrait.
Wonderful, Carol - love the sunglasses.
Carol!
Someone clearly has a thing for painting reflections in glasses. LOL
