100 PORTRAITS IN 100 DAYS - Edward, 9/100 © Carol Nelson Fine Art
Those glasses caused me a lot of grief, Ed. Could not pin down that green color. Ended up with a mixture of veridian, white, cad yellow pale and cobalt. Sheesh. The rest of the portrait was a breeze.
Please remember that tomorrow will be the 10th portrait of the first group of ten. Be sure to vote for your favorite - yes, you can vote for yourself - at least every painting should have ONE vote. LOL

Someone inquired about my Zazzle merchandise. I would like to remind everyone that you may also get your portrait printed on a mug, shirt, totebag, etc. Email me if you're interested in this.

I love when I can recognize your subject, Carol! Another magnificent piece! It will be so tough to vote on a favorite!!
Edward is going to be thrilled with this...fabulous!
Wow Carol, I haven't been paying close enough attention here. Great portrait of Ed...you nailed those glasses. But what an ambitious project...100 in 100...but portraits! Love the ones you've done so far.
You handle colors so well, Carol, and it shows in all of these portraits.
The skin color in this one is definitely exaggerated but still looks natural.
Another portrait full of life!

These have just been fantastic, Carol. I recognized Ed immediately, and think you did a wonderful job with the glasses!
Yet another wonderful painting! I think reflection in the glasses is super cool!
This has been an exciting project to watch so far. I love all your results!
Looking really good Carol. You are going to be able to do these in your sleep when you are done! Keep going! /Lee
As always, I'm amazed at how quickly you can do a portrait and do it well. Great job on this one also.
Your struggle with the glasses was well worth it. Great portrait.
