100 PORTRAITS IN 100 DAYS - Dodge, 32/100, © Carol Nelson Fine Art

Day 32

Dodge is a fellow I "met" on Facebook. This is one of his profile pictures and I could immediately see that it would make an interesting portrait. I love all the green in the photo - the wild colors were already there for me - no racking my brain to come up with wild colors.
For purchase information, please see my website, or email me at carolnelsonfineart@comcast.net.

AND THE WINNER IS: JEFF, 25/100. Jeff's portrait was the favorite in the last group of ten.
I'm curious about the past three winners - they've all been guys wearing glasses. I've painted some beautiful women, adorable children, but viewers are going for guys with glasses. If this continues, looks like today's painting of Dodge has a good chance.
Thanks to all who sent me their vote. I think this is so fun!!!

Gotta say that this one makes me smile, Carol. That Dodge looks like quite a funny guy! I like people like that and you can just see his personality in his face. Beautiful work, as usual!

Carol, I just LOVE this guy! Not only the pic, but the colors!! What is that background color?? It seems similar to the background you used with Jeff?? FABULOUS!! And, I can tell you're still having fun! Good for you!!

Dodge did turn out fun! And I'm so excited Jeff won - when I see him on Super Bowl Sunday I will ask for his autograph.

Maybe we like and admire the complexity in the guys with glasses. Or perhaps more women are voting and they naturally are attracted to the guys. Who knows? I just enjoy looking at your paintings. You should make a poster of all 100 images.

Possibly my favorite so far. Your "Adam" attitude is showing! :D

Do you think all that green was from the cigar...LOL!! Very well done, you made him look as funny as the original picture.
