Day 5This is David looking rather tired and disheveled the morning after "a jazz quartet kept playing in my pillow." Many of you will recognize this fine artist as David Darrow, aka Dave the Painting Guy. His wit is as sharp as his skill at the easel.

Absolutely fabulous treatment of this photo, Carol. I thought I recognized Dave. You've handled his photo beautifully and he doesn't look tired at all, though he does look quite "deep" with thoughts roiling within.

When I did my "Depressed" self-portrait this past summer, this is the exact look I was trying to achieve with the skin tone. Unfortunately I didn't pull it off as well as you did.
