Perhaps it's the fact that it's snowing and 8 degrees outside that makes me paint these beach paintings. I think this painting captures that irresistable scene of the sun dipping low into the sea. I wouldn't mind standing on that beach right now. This original oil painting is on 12x12 inch gallery wrap canvas.

I love the solidity you've established here with the waves and the atmosphere. I can hear the waves crashing and see myself squinting into the sunset.
