Blog Anniversary

This month is the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of this blog. Over the past 12 months I have posted 171 entries. Not all of them were paintings, but about 160 were. Thanks to Daily Painters, www.dailypainters.com, which I joined in May, for the incentive to paint often. I average about 3 paintings per week, and I'm happy to say I think I've grown as an artist. Thanks to all my readers. Your comments, as always, are most welcome.

    I like the portraits. Congrats on you blog-iversary.
    I still remember that beautiful collage piece with the clock, done in blues and golds.

    Thanks, Mary. The portraits look really cool when seen as a group. When I get all 12 completed, I will take a picture of the group. The colors look like a beautiful abstract and, since they're people, you naturally want to stop and look at each one.

    Thank you, Barbara. I can honestly say I'm doing the face series for myself only. They don't get a lot of notice on Daily Painters, my online gallery, but I feel I'm growing and stretching my skills.
