At the Crossroad

I am with you by my absence

Never letting go

Through I be standing here, 

And you—over there
 
At   the  crossroad 

Where  souls  go—  

Never to be awakened

Nor  put  to  sleep 

Riding tandem with God.

This lovely poem is by Diane Croft.  She contacted me asking permission to use the image of my painting, "Crossroads", to accompany the poem.  She wrote it for her mother-in-law after the death of her husband.
