Abstract Mixed Media Art Painting "Dream" by Colorado Mixed Media Abstract Artist Carol Nelson

This is a true mixed media piece.  It has prepared Tyvek, pebbles, glass globules, corrugated paper and metallic paper.  The photos were taken BEFORE a layer of clear resin was put over the pebble and tyvek areas.

The resin is so shiny, there is always glare from the lights, so I try to photograph before application.  Resin increases the depth of color and secures the collage elements to the surface.

This painting arrives ready to hang or frame for a more finished

Beautiful. I was working in oil and now started mkx media which is much more fun. It is a hobby for me, your art is amazing. Thanks for sharing.

I always fall upon your art by accident and fall in love. Standing ovation again. One day maybe I can follow suit in my own direction like this. You are!
