This is a torn paper collage. I love the way the various papers add texture to the painting.
My neighbor feeds crows at her house. There's a lot of cawing around her house. I thought of her when I painted it, and she snapped it up as soon as she saw it.

Love this, Carol! Crows make such interesting subjects don't they? They have personality! I did a torn paper painting of crows last year which sold at a local show. I'm using that painting for the top of my blog currently.
This is a very strong painting and although I cannot see the collage as much as I would like to, the end result is absolutely fabulous. The best part to me is the expression in the crows faces...the eyes say it all!
That's intense looking - in a good way.
BOLD, STRON, DARING!
'Love your work...
