"ALL THAT GLITTERS" 11015, daily painter metals abstract © Carol Nelson Fine Art

"ALL THAT GLITTERS"

This painting is a demo I did at my workshop in Littleton over the weekend.  It has glazed aluminum, copper tacks, hammered copper wire, and sea shell fragments and is covered with a crystal clear coating of epoxy resin.  The metals and the epoxy make it very difficult to photograph.

My gosh this is glorious. I can only imagine how luminous this must be in person. Love the elements you've added to this, really makes the piece. Beautiful.

I just love this! It looks like treasure captured in ancient amber. I want you to sell a DVD or book on your techniques!
