"KAUAI SHORE," 10124, daily painter original landscape © Carol Nelson Fine Art

I have vacationed in the Hawaiian Islands on several occasions. I love all the islands, but Kauai is one of our favorites. The northwest part of Kauai is the Napali coast which is so rugged, the road doesn't even to all around the island. This area is a favorite of Hollywood and there have been several movies located there.

This 6x6 original oil on panel is available for $85 including shipping in the US/Canada. Please click here to go to my website where there is a Paypal button.

Truly beautiful and indubitably the only way I'll ever see Hawaii. The lush greens in the distant mountains, the gorgeous blue/greens of the shallows...Stunning work, Carol!

Beautiful job of capturing the sparkling water of Kauai!
Would love to be there. :)

I once took a cruise to this part of the island. It was magnificent, but I found out that I get motion sickness easily. I heard you can ride horses through the wilderness to get there instead since no roads go there. If I ever go again, that's how I'd like to do it.

Lovely painting!

The 10124, is that the POST NUMBER? I thought it might be a zip code, but, no...
You make me miss Hawaii.. and it was 25 years ago that I went --

Wish I was there but thanks for the trip. Love the colors in the water. Very nice, Carol.

I number all my paintings because many of the titles are very similar. I wish I was gifted at thinking up cool titles, but mostly I am not.
The five digit number tells the year, followed by the sequential number it was painted in.
So 10124 means it was painted in (20)10, and is the 124th painting done this year. The next one will be 10125.
