100 OIL PORTRAITS IN 100 DAYS - Elsie, 82/100, © Carol Nelson Fine Art

Day 82

I know you can't tell from the photo, but sweet little Elsie has these incredible eyelashes. Eyelashes are very difficult to paint realistically because they always look like you painted them on (duh!). For purchase information, please see my website.

Today is the last day to vote for your favorite of portraits 71-80. Check them out and send me your vote at carolnelsonfineart@comcast.net.

Here I am thinking Ethel is my new favorite and then you go and paint Elsie! Sigh...Carol, you make this voting thing difficult! LOL Loved that "duh" comment! Made me cackle out loud in my coffee!

What a face she is sooooo cute.
I love how you painted the hat.

What can I say? As the proud Grandma of this cutie I LOVE it! Can't wait for it to dry so you can ship it to me. I have been looking forward to each of your daily posts so I can see who you've painted each day.
You should do a grand finale - fun self portrait for #100!
