100 OIL PORTRAITS IN 100 DAYS - Samantha, 57/100, © Carol Nelson Fine Art

Day 57

This is Samantha. She is the sister of yesterday's Randi. Another one in braces, but I'm a pro at braces now. One area of this painting I really liked was the left cheek where the orange, peach, pink and red tones really look great.
For purchase information, please see my website, or email me carolnelsonfineart@comcast.net.

Great news about the patients - they both went home from the hospital Thursday afternoon. Morris' lab work continues to show improvement in kidney function. Next, we have to attend transplant meetings twice a week for 3 months. You would not believe the load of meds he has to take to prevent rejection. At least the surgery is behind him.

What cute and expensive (braces, glasses!) sisters! LOL You've done them both so beautifully, Carol!

Carol,
Any orthodontist will be proud of
you.
Good job.
But above all the good news are great news.
Keep the positive thinking and everything will be fine.

Both Randi and Samantha look fabulous. You are an expert at braces. As their grandmother, I purchased both portraits as a surprise birthday present for their dad who is my son. He will be as thrilled as I am. Thank you, Carol.

It is going well and you have passed the halfway mark, Carol! I hope there will be amazing prizes and awards waiting at the end of the line!

Carol!

I'm sure the surgery was an ordeal but the aftermath and "upkeep" is sure to be a challenge as well.

Tell your hubby to hang in there! You'll all get through this....one day at a time.
