100 PORTRAITS IN 100 DAYS-Ishrath, 3/100 © Carol Nelson Fine Art

Day 3. This is one of three fabulous photos sent to me by Ishrath in India. Ishrath writes a blog/website called www.wanderingmist.com which I find very interesting and insightful.
Look at this photo - how could it not turn out to be a good portrait? Ishrath photographed this lady in the Jaipur area of India.

How lovely. I love the way you chose to crop it. How do you mix your skin tones Carol?

Beatiful portrait from a great picture. I love the crop you chose and how the colour of the scarf is prominent, but does not take away from the stunning face. Well done!

Absolutely fabulous so far, Carol! I've pulled up a chair, popped some popcorn, and am settling in to watch your progress for the next 97 days.

They all look wonderful. I am sure the subjects will really appreciate them also.

Carol, wow this is great! Can you tell us more about how you are doing these, maybe a couple of process photos? How long does it take, and after the first ten tell us if anything has changed? I am fascinated, and proud to be Portrait #0.
