Grand Canyon 2, 06408, acrylic geologic abstract

This is another of my geological abstracts. This painting has a textured surface and multiple glazes of color for a rich, interesting surface. Painted on gallery wrap Signature canvas, it arrives ready to hang.

This was the first thing to catch my eye today on DP - the colors & shapes are such a knock-out!!Beautiful abstraction!

Thanks, Roxanne. I know you have a lot of texture in your paintings, so you would really like this one in person. The texture doesn't show so well on the photo.

Hi Carol, I found your work on dailypainters and wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your bold, sculptured abstracts. I am a scientist and have recently taken up painting. I am most drawn to the limitless opportunities in abstract expression and yours canyon abstracts are an inspiration to me. Judy Kapp

Thanks, all. I took this painting to a show this weekend. It didn't sell, but I saw it for the first time in the bright sunshine. The color complexity surprised even me!
