Abstraction Study 2, original acrylic abstract

I'm almost embarrassed to post these abstract studies because I'm not sure of my direction. I know I like texture and metallics. Getting the right composition and combination of colors is like pulling teeth. It's hard. Maybe with practice it will come easier. SOLD

Thanks Delilah and Madison. When I feel more confident about these abstract pieces, I will attempt them on a larger scale.

To me it's not bad at all, it's very good. Try not to be too critical, because art can be very subjective. Anyway, its really nice.

Thank you, Carl, for the vote of confidence. Most of my artist friends are not abstract painters, so I am separating myself from the flock, so to speak, and it's out of my comfort zone.

wonderful sensation of material, paint for the sake of paint, wonderful, dynamic and sensational, but my words are only ill expressed, so I rather look at your painting again,

Edward, your words are never ill expressed. You have a most elegant way with a phrase, which is why I always read your blog. Thanks for the encouragement.
