This reminds me of Childe Hassam's (20th C) watercolor paintings of poppies in which he used a somewhat similar composition, albeit a completely different palette...just lovely! Jeanne Illenye
Thank you, Jeanne. I'm not familiar with Hassam's watercolor poppies, but I'm flattered that my poppies remind you of his. He is one of my favorite painters. My favorite is Boson Common. I would love to see that painting in person. I'd probably spend hours in front of it.
