I was going to call this painting "Mrs. Brown, You Have a Lovely Daughter." My husband nixed that idea because the song (sung by Herman's Hermits) is 40 years old, and most people won't know about it or remember it unless they listen to "oldies" radio.

I like the title, and yes, unfortunately I am old enough to remember the song! I like the painting too! Even if a person doesn't know the song the title still works.

Thanks, Wanda. It's a funny thing about titles. Sometimes the title is so perfect, it clarifies what the artist was trying to "say," and makes the painting more meaningful.
Yes, I am old enough to remember that title and I would have named it that had I thought of it. What do husband's know?? I do love your poppies and I too am attracted to geometric design.
